As I try to bring my creativity back online and introduce new routines into my life, I am going to start with a nice list of viewings for your Sunday. Not specifically tracklocross focused, but all add to my tapestry of life.

A big part of my non-bike life is skateboarding, and we are currently in Skater of the Year territory, which means lots of great videos are coming out. I’m going to give you the Gabriel Summers part that just came out, as I’ve never actually wanted to cry at a skate video before, but this one got me in the feels. Before you watch it, though, I’ve included the documentary on it. Watch it first.

Also, don’t watch if you don’t like blood or seeing head trauma.

Another huge part of life is music. We’re in that part of the year where we get people’s Spotify Wrapped. I don’t use Spotify as they are worse than other streaming services; they pay the least to artists, and I use YouTube Music. My biggest artist of the year was Turnstile; happily, my daughter approves.

Another band I’ve rinsed is the Japanese no-genre is safe DONGURIZU.

If you work with me, you’ll believe I work in sales for Greggs, so this song really resonates with me.

If I’m honest, I feel most of the bike YouTube sphere has been pretty bland and uninspiring this year. There have been a few BMX edits that inspire me.

The first one is the Scottish tech powerhouse Alex Donnachie. Honestly, trying to work out what is switch, opposite, and regular is an effort in his edits, but it is worth it, and the reason why he won Number One Rider this year. He’s also super humble and builds the bikes I give away for my day job, so good vibes all round.

Some fixed gear madness in the SMC Best Trick Jam, including a backflip on a fixie.

How about Corey Walsh with the viseral opposite of Alex D on the kids bikes.

What about the best event I went to this year?

One of the few podcaty/vloggy bits of bike YouTube I’ve enjoyed was SMC Off-Track stuff, probably as it isn’t an advert or just the same talking points. Plus, JBall has the knowledge.

I’ve not really done more than Shorts on YouTube this year, but this is my highest viewed longform

The highest viewed Short.

My highest viewed Reel on Instagram, and the first time I’ve broken 10,000 likes on any social media.

Something I just enjoyed way too much.

Another YouTuber whom I enjoy.

I started two new fun (for me), but fundementally pointless bands.

Have a great day.

Great post, lots of things here. The Sporanos/Star Trek TNG mashup is funny.

I picked up some of your music on Bandcamp Fridays… nicely done!
