Another non-tracklocross inspired post. The feel of this blog, the woodcut imgaes, all come back to my previous past as a musician, I use this term loosely. I’ve not really dabbled much in years but this year I’ve had lots of little ideas go through my head so I’m going to introduce my ambient project, thegroundkeepsyourshadows.

    Nicely done. I enjoyed this; in particular, the ambience of the second track felt calming in a similar way to what I experience with Brian Eno’s ambient music.

      It’s interesting, in that dark ambient is supposed to have a feeling of unease but I was reading an academic paper the other day that was arguing that all aspects of ambient are calming and good for the soul.
