In my “Who Are We” section and the various rules pages, I mention that Fiefdom is part of a community interest company, and I thought I should maybe explain what we do.Continue reading “Teaching the Youth Tracklocross”
I went off on a bit of an adventure around the Three Lochs Way on the Squid/BLB SO-EZ at the weekend. Being an idiot, I managed to forget my camera and Go-Pro and also to charge my phone. Documentation was therefore a bit of an issue. I guess it is true what they say about preparation.Continue reading “Scottish Tracklocross Adventures”
The first part of the guide to frames for tracklocross has proven to be a bit of a hit, and I’ve also had people send me other options and frames to look at and see what I think. Now, I’ve started to compile a second guide so that we don’t end up with a massive mess of a post.Continue reading “Track Frames With Clearance for Tracklocross – Part 2”
Okay, it came out 4 months ago but it is nearly the weekend and honestly, I am missing winter. A little tracklocross video to keep you hyped and get you out shredding.

Do you care, do I even care? Possibly, not the best introduction to a blog post yet, but I’m doing my best. The blog, though, has been ticking over nicely. I guess people want to know about tracklocross? The good news is I still do as well, and I also need to post about my Squid/BLB SO-EZ build. It is a proper spare parts build.
Rather than jumping back into writing loads, I thought I’d post a few recent tracklocross videos that I’ve seen on YouTube.Continue reading “Where Have I Been?”
Cycling is often used to help us fix our health issues, both physical and mental. It is an excellent tool for this and many of the other ails of society. Cycling is then used to help fight against depression and anxiety, which I’m sure we can all agree is a great idea. I’m going to go a step further and claim fixed gear, and tracklocross, in particular, is one of the best forms of cycling for this.Continue reading “Tracklocross Is Mindfulness”
Carrying on my and off YouTube project documenting the quieter side of tracklocross life. On this ride, I was riding along the Clyde Walkway, most of the footage is shot between Wishaw and Lanark, and it was the first day we’ve had the sun I a while, so everything was great.Continue reading “Scottish Tracklocross Rides #2”
